About the product
A right bank red Bordeaux from the Rospars family, winemakers for four generations. The vineyards sit on a limestone plateau over clay, a former seabed, in the Montagne Saint-Émilion appellation next door to famous Saint-Émilion.
A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, typical of Bordeaux's right bank, partly aged in new oak barrels. Red fruit, spice, tobacco and herbs on the nose; full bodied on the palate with firm fruit tannins and a black cherry finish.
