Advanced Course in Wine Collecting and Investment
About the product
What you will experience
We start with what makes a wine collectible: vintage, variety, producer and terroir, and the difference between ageing wine and investing in it. We cover ideal storage conditions (temperature, humidity, light, vibration) and compare home wine fridges with professional storage. In the investment part you learn how to choose wines with growth potential, which appellations and producers to follow and what the risks are. We show vertical and horizontal collection strategies and how to keep records and value bottles. In the practical part you taste four mature wines, follow how wine evolves over time and work with the Le Nez du Vin wine faults kit.
